XY-IMU/AHRS

In modern autonomous systems, robotics, and aerospace navigation, achieving precise, delay-free attitude and motion tracking under highly dynamic conditions presents a fundamental engineering challenge. Conventional IMU sensors often suffer from cumulative drift, limited dynamic range, and sensor saturation during high-acceleration maneuvers or high-vibration operations. Overcoming these limitations requires a robust multi-sensor fusion architecture capable of processing high-frequency inertial, magnetic, and barometric data without compromising responsiveness or accuracy.

Under development

Specifications will follow product validation. Currently in R&D.

XY-IMU/AHRS addresses these critical demands by combining dual-range acceleration sensing (up to ±256 g) with an ultra-wide gyroscope measurement range (up to ±4000 °/s) and advanced onboard adaptive filtering. Designed for defense, robotics, UAV navigation, and industrial automation, this European-sourced hardware provides real-time Quaternion and Euler angle outputs at rates up to 800 Hz. With multi-protocol communication support including UART, SPI, and CAN FD, the system delivers plug-and-play flexibility and mission-critical reliability for demanding operational environments.

Key Features

  • 9DoF Motion & Environmental Sensing: Delivers complete orientation, 3-axis acceleration, angular velocity, magnetic field, and barometric pressure data.
  • Dual-Range Acceleration Sensing: Features dual-channel acceleration sensing switching between low-g (±2/±4/±8/±16 g) for precise motion tracking and high-g (±32/±64/±128/±256 g) for high-impact environments.
  • Wide-Range Gyroscope: Broad measurement range up to ±4000 °/s to support highly dynamic maneuvers without signal clipping.
  • High Output Rates: Real-time data streaming up to 800 Hz over an ASCII command interface.
  • Onboard Data Processing: Integrated adaptive orientation estimation filters delivering Quaternion and Euler angle outputs.
  • Multi-Interface Connectivity: Hardware support for UART, SPI, and CAN FD communication interfaces.
  • European-Sourced Hardware: High-reliability European hardware design engineered for demanding applications.

Core Benefits

  • Uncompromised Dynamic Range: Dual-range accelerometer prevents sensor saturation during violent acceleration or shock events.
  • Low Noise & High Accuracy: Low-noise MEMS sensing (65 µg/√Hz accelerometer noise, 4.5 mdps/√Hz gyro noise) ensures exceptional drift stability.
  • Reduced Host Computation: Onboard quaternion estimation offloads attitude math from the central host processor.
  • Versatile System Integration: Flexible protocol selection (UART, SPI, CAN FD) accelerates design and deployment across varied hardware architectures.
