XY-PCL-MU

The contemporary battlespace and high-security zones demand persistent airspace vigilance; however, conventional radar systems frequently reveal their positions through active electromagnetic emissions. The XY-PCL-MU resolves this challenge by utilizing Passive Coherent Location (PCL) technology. Rather than radiating its own RF energy, the system exploits ambient, commercial broadcast transmissions—such as DVB-T and FM signals—to detect and track airborne threats. This approach enables fully covert airspace surveillance that cannot be jammed or localized by adversary Electronic Support (ES) or Anti-Radiation Missiles (ARM).

Engineered for optimal operational agility, the XY-PCL-MU is fully integrated onto a dedicated vehicle platform to facilitate rapid relocation and flexible tactical repositioning. It delivers high-precision tracking against a wide spectrum of airborne targets—including fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)—serving as a vital asset for military reconnaissance, border surveillance, and Counter-UAS architectures. By combining continuous 360-degree coverage with vehicle mobility, the system empowers defense and security forces to deploy an undetectable airspace surveillance shield wherever required.

Key Features

  • Passive Radar Technology: Zero electromagnetic emissions, ensuring complete operational stealth and tactical surprise.
  • Vehicle-Mounted Mobility: Turnkey vehicular integration enables rapid redeployment and agile "shoot-and-scoot" survivability.
  • 360° Airspace Surveillance: Full panoramic spatial coverage, eliminating blind spots across the operational theater.
  • High-Density Multi-Target Tracking: Real-time processing capability to manage dense volumes of bistatic plots and target tracks simultaneously.
  • Proven Industrial Partnership: Developed and delivered in technological cooperation with SkyRad and Vortex.

Key Benefits

  • Operational Invisibility: Emits zero RF signature, neutralizing threats from anti-radiation missiles (ARMs) and electronic intelligence (ELINT) direction-finding systems.
  • Cost-Efficient Signal Exploitation: Leveraging signals from existing transmitters, such as FM and DVB-T, eliminates the need for expensive, energy-intensive active transmitters.
  • Electronic Countermeasure Resilience: Inherently resistant to standard active electronic jamming techniques due to multi-source, multi-frequency broadcast exploitation.
  • Rapid Theater Situational Awareness: The self-contained mobile platform provides rapid deployment and instant airspace monitoring in contested or remote areas.
